【摘要】:TheAtlantektestsystemallowssimulationofdirectthermalprintersinthemarketplace.Thus,thissystemisusefulinmatchingdirectthermalproductperformancetovariousprinterconfigurations.Thistestsystemisusefulfornewproductdevelopment.Directthermalprintermanufacturerscandesignprintcontrolalgorithmstomatchparticularthermalimagingproducts.Thermalimagingproductmanufacturerscanformulateanddesignproducts(media)toprovideamatchwithcertainprinterdesigns.Manufacturingprocesscontrolcanmakethermalresponsecomparisonsrelativetoprocesschanges.Customersforthermalproductscanusethistestmethodtocomparesuppliesfromvariousmanufacturers.Thetestsystemcanbeusedtoevaluatethermalresponseoffacsimile,label,medicalrecorder,plotter,andotherdirectthermalproducts(media).Performancedifferencesbetweenprintheadsandmediacombinationscanbemeasuredandpresentedgraphically.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthemeasurementofthermalresponseofvariousdirectthermalimagingpapersorotherthermal-coatedsubstratesusedforfacsimile,labels,medicalrecorders,plotters,andprinters.1.2TheAtlantekThermalResponseTesterModel200describedinthistestmethodmaybeusedforspecificationacceptance,productdevelopment,andresearchapplications.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Forspecificprecautionarystatements,seeSection8.
