【摘要】:1.1ThispracticecoverstheuseofFresnel-reflectingconcentratorsthatusethesunasasourceofultraviolet(UV)andlongerwavelengthradiation.Suchdevicesareusedintheoutdooracceleratedexposuretestingofplastics.1.2ThispracticeprovidesaprocedureforperformingoutdooracceleratedexposuretestingofplasticsusingaFresnel-reflectoroutdooracceleratedweatheringtestmachine.TheapparatusisdescribedhereinandinPracticeG90morecompletely.1.3Thispracticeisapplicabletoarangeofplasticmaterialsincluding,butnotlimitedto,plasticfilms,sheets,laminates,andextrudedandmoldedproductsinavarietyofshapesandsizes,asspecifiedin.1.4Thispracticedescribestestconditionsthatattempttosimulateplasticsexposuresindesertandsubtropicalclimates.Specimenpreparation,propertytestingprocedures,andtheevaluationofresultsarecoveredinexistingtestmethodsorspecificationsforspecificmaterials.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.SpecificprecautionarystatementsaregiveninSection.Note1ThisstandardandISO877.2-1991,MethodC,aretechnicallyequivalent.
