【摘要】:ThisEuropeanStandardspecifiesatestmethodtoevaluatethereactiontofireperformanceofbuildingproducts.Afireissimulatedwhichunderwell-ventilatedconditionsstartsinacornerofasmallroomwithasingleopendoorway.Themethodisintendedtoevaluatethecontributionofasurfaceproducttofiregrowthinaroomconfiguration,usingaspecifiedignitionsource.ItconstitutesareferencetestforthistypeofproductwithintheEuropeanclassificationsystemforreactiontofireperformanceofconstructionproducts.Themethodisparticularlysuitableforconstructionproductswhichcannotbetestedintheirenduseapplicationinasmallorintermediatelaboratoryscale.Themethodcanalsobeusedtoassesstheeffectofaninsulatingsubstrateontheproductperformance.AtestperformedinaccordancewiththemethodspecifiedinthisEuropeanStandardprovidesdatafortheearlystagesofafirefromignitionuptoflashover.Themethodisnotintendedtoevaluatefloorcoverings.Itmaynotbesuitableforsomefree-standingproductsbecausetheirintegrity,whenexposedtofire,couldhaveadecisiveinfluenceontheirbehaviour.NOTETheterm“surfaceproduct”asusedinthetitleandscopeofthisEuropeanStandardspecificallyrelatestointernalsurfacelinings,assemblies,pipesandpipeinsulationproductsusedinbuildings.
