【摘要】:ThispartofISO16653specifiesthedesign,calculations,safetyrequirementsandtestmethodsrelevanttomobileelevatingworkplatforms(MEWPs)suitablefororchardoperations.ItisintendedtobeusedinconjunctionwithISO16368,whoserequirementsitmodifies,supplementsorconfirms.UnlessotherwisestatedinthispartofISO16653,theprovisionsofISO16368apply.ThispartofISO16553specifiesthestructuraldesigncalculationsandstabilitycriteria,construction,safetyexaminationsandteststobecarriedoutbeforeaMEWPtobeusedinorchardoperationsisfirstputintoservice.ItidentifiesthehazardsarisingfromtheuseofMEWPsinorchardoperationsanddescribesmethodsfortheeliminationorreductionofthosehazards.Itisapplicabletosingle-personboom-typeMEWPs,controlledfromtheplatformandusedtomoveapersontoworkingpositionsforpickingfruitandmaintainingtreesandtrellisvinesinanorchard.NOTEThesearetypicallynon-slewingunits,basedonatwo-wheeldriveaxleandacastortrailingwheel.Theliftheightrequirementsvarydependingontheplantsgrownandclimaticconditions.MEWPsusedinstonefruit,pipfruitandcitrusorchardstypicallywillhavealiftheightof2,5mto4,5m.MEWPsusedinavocadoorchardswilltypicallyhavealiftheightupto6,5mwithoccasionalunitsof8mto10m.Atharvesttime,theMEWPfororchardoperationsisfittedwithapickingbagtocollectfruitandtransportittoacollectionpoint.Theratedload,includingoperator,istypically170kgto200kg.
