【摘要】:ThispartofIEC61753containstheminimuminitialtestsandmeasurementrequirementsandseveritieswhichanon-wavelengthselectivebranchingdevice(NWBD)shouldsatisfyinordertobecategorizedasmeetingtherequirementsofCategoryU(uncontrolledenvironment)asdefinedinAnnexAofIEC61753-1.Thisstandardtakesintoaccounttwotechnologiespresentonthemarket:theFusedBiconicalTaper(FBT)andthePlanarLightwaveCircuit(PLC).Requirementscoverbalanced,bidirectional,non-connectorized,single-mode1×Nand2×Nnon-wavelength-selectivebranchingdevicesforuseinanIECCategoryUenvironment(Nisthenumberofoutputports),especiallyforPassiveOpticalNetwork(PON)application.Thespecificationsofunbalancedbranchingdevicesarelimitedto1×2and2×2devicesbecausetheyarethemostcommonlyused.
