【摘要】:TheseRequirementscoverair-cooledtransformersandreactorsforgeneraluseandforusewithmercury-vaporlamps,sunlamps,etc.;transformersforusewithClass2remote-control,low-energy-power,andsignalcircuits;ignitiontransformersforusewithgasburnersand.oilburners;gas-tube-signtransformersforusewithinert-gastubes;andtoytransformers;tobeemployedinaccordancewiththeNationalElectricalCode.TheseRequirementsdonotcoveroil-filledtransformers,specialtypesoftransformerscoveredinRequirementsforotherelectricaldevicesorappliances,autotransformersformingpartsofindustrialcontrolequipment,nortransformershavingaprimaryratingofmorethan600volts.TheseRequirementsarebaseduponrecordsoftestsandfieldexperienceandaresubjecttorevisionasfurtherexperienceandinvestigationmayshowtobenecessaryordesirable.AproductwhichcomplieswiththeseRequirementswillnotnecessarilybeacceptableif,whenexaminedandtested,itisfoundtohaveotherfeatureswhichimpairtheresultcontemplatedbytheseRequirements.AproductemployingmaterialsorhavingformsofconstructiondifferingfromthosedetailedintheseRequirementsmaybeexaminedandtestedaccordingtotheintentoftheRequirements,andiffoundtobesubstantiallyequivalentmaybegivenrecognition.Requirementsareshowninbold-facedtypeandaresupplementedbyexplanatorynotesanddescriptionsoftestapparatusandmethodsinlight-facedtype.
