【摘要】:1.1Thispracticecoverstherequiredproceduresforexaminingsequentialcontroltiredataforanyvariationduetochangingtestconditions.Suchvariationsmayinfluenceabsoluteandalsocomparativeperformanceofcandidatetires,astheyaretestedoveranyshortorextendedtimeperiod.Thevariationsaddressedinthispracticearesystematicorbiasvariationsandnotrandomvariations.Seeforadditionaldetails.1.1.1Twotypesofvariationmayoccur:timeortestsequence"trendvariations,"eitherlinearorcurvilinear,andthelesscommontransientorabruptshiftvariations.Ifanyobservedvariationsaredeclaredtobestatisticallysignificant,thecalculationproceduresaregiventocorrectfortheinfluenceofthesevariations.ThisapproachisaddressedinMethodA.1.2Insometestingprograms,apolicyisadoptedtocorrectallcandidatetractiontestdatavalueswithouttheapplicationofastatisticalroutinetodetermineifasignificanttrendorshiftisobserved.ThisoptionispartofthispracticeandisaddressedinMethodB.1.3Theissueofrejectingoutlierdatapointsortestvaluesthatmightoccuramongasetofotherwiseacceptabledatavaluesobtainedunderidenticaltestconditionsinashorttimeperiodisnotpartofthispractice.Specifictestmethodorotheroutlierrejectionstandardsthataddressthisissuemaybeusedontheindividualdatasetspriortoapplyingthispracticeanditsprocedures.1.4Althoughthispracticeappliestovarioustypesoftiretractiontesting(forexample,dry,wet,snow,ice),theproceduresasgiveninthispracticemaybeusedforanyrepetitivetiretestinginanenvironmentwheretestconditionsaresubjecttochange.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
