【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationcoversflexiblewatertightjointsforconcretepipeandprecastmanholesections,usingrubbergasketsforsealingthejoints,whereinfiltrationorexfiltrationisafactorinthedesign.Thespecificationcoversthedesignofjointsandtherequirementsforrubbergasketstobeusedtherewith,forpipeconforminginallotherrespectstoSpecificationC14M,SpecificationC76M,orSpecificationC507MandprecastmanholesectionconforminginallotherrespectstoSpecificationC478M,providedthatifthereisconflictinpermissiblevariationsindimensions,therequirementsofthisspecificationforjointsshallgovern.1.2ThisspecificationisthemetriccounterpartofSpecificationC443.Note18212;Thisspecificationcoversthedesignandperformanceoftherubbergasketjointonly.Jointscoveredbythisspecificationarenormallyadequateforhydrostaticpressuresupto90kPa(9m)withoutleakage,whentestedperSection9.Infiltrationorexfiltrationquantitiesforaninstalledpipelinearedependentuponmanyfactorsotherthanthejoints,andallowablequantitiesmustbecoveredbyotherspecificationsandsuitabletestingoftheinstalledpipelineandsystem.
