【摘要】:Thistestmethodisintendedtoprovideameansofassessingtheabilityofahydraulic-cementgrouttoretainastablevolumeduringthestipulatedtestingperiodof28days,providedthatthetendencytochangeheightdoesnotincludetheeffectsofdryingcausedbyevaporation,uptakeofmoisture,carbonation,orexposuretotemperaturesoutsidetherange23.0x00B1;2.0x00B0;C(73x00B1;3x00B0;F)(Note1).Anexceptionismadewhentheoptionsdescribedinthesectionontestconditionsareexercised.Note18212;Thistestmethoddoesnotmeasurethechangeinheightbeforehardening(seeTestMethodC827).1.1Thistestmethodcoversmeasurementofthechangesinheightofhydraulic-cementgroutbytheuseof75by150-mm(3by6-in.)cylinders,whenthecylindersareprotectedsothatthetendencytochangeinheightdoesnotincludeevaporationsoastocausedrying,uptakeofmoisture,carbonation,orexposuretotemperaturesoutsidetherange23x00B1;2.0x00B0;C(73x00B1;3x00B0;F)or,optionally,toanotherspecifiedtemperaturecontrolledwithinx00B1;2.0x00B0;C(x00B1;3x00B0;F).1.2Ifdesired,thistestmethodcanbeadaptedtostudiesofchangesinheightinvolvingeitherschedulesorenvironmentaltreatmentdifferentfromthestandardproceduresprescribedbythistestmethod.1.3ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.1.4Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
