【摘要】:Thispracticeprovidesauniformmethodofspecifyingperformancerequirementsfor(orreportingtestresultsof)electricalcontactandconnectionsystems.Bothconductorandconnectorsystemperformancemaybespecifiedbythispractice,separatelyorincombination.Thispracticemaybeusedforseparableorpermanentcontactsemployingmetallicconductorsandcontacts.Thispracticeprovidesmethodsforbothsignalandpowerapplications.Thispracticedoesnotspecifythesamplepreparationortestsequencesrequiredfordeterminingcontactperformance.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthispracticetodeterminetheappliedtestsequence(s)appropriatefortheapplication.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.ItistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtobecomefamiliarwithallhazardsincludingthoseidentifiedintheappropriateMaterialSafetyDataSheet(MSDS)forthisproduct/materialasprovidedbythemanufacturer,toestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpractices,anddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
