本方法适用于分析高纯正庚烷和异辛烷(2，2，4-三甲基戊烷)，其纯度大于99.5%(体积)。正庚烷和异辛烷是测定燃料油辛烷值的主要标准油。本方法也可检测浓度小于0.01%的烃类杂质组分。
