【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationcoversalubricantsuitableforfacilitatingtheinsertionandpositioningofpreformedelastomericcompressionsealsinpreparedvoids(usuallycontractionjoints)inconcretepavement.1.2Therequirementsofthelubricantarebasedontheperformanceofthelubricantasmeasuredbyitssolidscontent,homogeneity,consistencyanddryingrate.1.3Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.ThemetricequivalentsofU.S.customaryunitsmaybeapproximate.1.4Thefollowingprecautionarycaveatpertainsonlytothetestmethodportion,Section7ofthisspecification.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
