【摘要】:ThispartofISO8130specifiesamethodfordeterminingtheflowpropertiesofamixtureofcoatingpowderandair.Themethodreflectscommercialpracticeinpowderspraying(see“Bibliography”,AnnexB).Theresultsobtainedareinfluencedbythecompositionofthecoatingpowder,itsdensity,particlesizedistributionandparticleshape,togetherwiththetendencyoftheparticlestoagglomerateandtoacceptatriboelectriccharge.NOTE1Itiswellknownthatthetransportandsprayingcharacteristicsofpowdersarehighlydependentontheirflowpropertiesinbulkandinair.Theproceduredescribedinthismethodisconsideredtobemoremeaningfulthanthe“flowangle”approachsometimesusedtoevaluatebulkflowproperties.Inthelatter,theangleoftheconeformedwhenapowderisallowedtoflowthroughaverticalfunnelontoahorizontalsurfaceismeasured.Agivenmassofpowderwithgoodflowpropertiesformsashallowerconethananequalmassofapowderwithpoorerflow.Theobjectionstotheflowanglemethodarethatitisdifficulttoobtainaprecisemeasurementandthatthepowderisusedalone,whereasduringapplicationitismixedwithair.
