【摘要】:ThisPartofBS7087specifiesrequirementsfordriedwholeoregano(wildmarjoram)inbouquets,rubbedoregano,processedforfooduseandderivedfromtheLabiataeperennialspeciesOriganumvulgareL,itssubspecies(virens,vulgareetc.)andotherOriganumspecieswiththeexceptionofOriganummarjoranaL.,e.g.OriganumXappliiandsubspeciesincludingsomesubspeciesofOriganumonites.Some200subspeciesofOriganumareknown.ThisPartofBS7087alsoappliestoLippiagraveolansL.(Mexicanoregano).Thebotanicalclassificationsbetweenmarjoramandoreganoaresmallbutdistinctflavourdifferencesexist.ThisPartofBS7087alsospecifiesrequirementsforgroundoreganoderivedfromthewholeoreganocomplyingwiththisstandard.AdditionalinformationonfurtherrequirementsthatmaybespecifiedinpurchasecontractsisgiveninannexC.
