【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardspecifiesmethodsoftestfordetermininggeneralphysicalandmechanicalpropertiesofrubberthreads,aswellasspecificmechanicalpropertiesofsuchthreadsincontactwithfabrics.Owingtothecomparativelysmallcross-sectionandtheunusualconditionsofserviceofthismaterial,certainspecialmethodshavebeendeveloped.SomeofthetestsincludedinthisInternationalStandardmaynotbeentirelysuitableforthreadsmadefromcertainsyntheticrubbers(e.g.urethanerubber).Thesetestsareintendedfornaturalorsyntheticpolyisoprenerubbers.Itispointedoutthatcomparisonsmayonlybemadeonnewrubberthreadsoronthosewithidenticalprocessinghistories.Intheinterpretationofresultsfromthreadswhichhavebeensubjectedtospooling,fabricationoranyotherprocess,itshouldbeborneinmindthattheprevioushistoryisimportant,andwhatisknownofthisandofanyrelaxationtreatmentsusedshallbestatedinthetestreport.
