【摘要】:ThisclauseofPart1isreplacedbythefollowing.ThisInternationalStandarddealswiththesafetyofelectricstoragewaterheatersforhouseholdandsimilarpurposesandintendedforheatingwaterbelowboilingtemperature,theirratedvoltagebeingnotmorethan250Vforsingle-phaseappliancesand480Vforotherappliances.Appliancesnotintendedfornormalhouseholdusebutwhichneverthelessmaybeasourceofdangertothepublic,suchasappliancesintendedtobeusedbylaymeninshops,inlightindustryandonfarms,arewithinthescopeofthisstandard.Asfarasispracticable,thisstandarddealswiththecommonhazardspresentedbyappliancesthatareencounteredbyallpersonsinandaroundthehome.However,ingeneral,itdoesnottakeintoaccount–theuseofappliancesbyyoungchildrenorinfirmpersonswithoutsupervision;–playingwiththeappliancebyyoungchildren.NOTE101Attentionisdrawntothefactthat–forappliancesintendedtobeusedathighaltitudes,additionalrequirementsmaybenecessary;–forappliancesintendedtobeusedinvehiclesoronboardshipsoraircraft,additionalrequirementsmaybenecessary;–inmanycountriesadditionalrequirementsarespecifiedbythenationalhealthauthorities,thenationalauthoritiesresponsiblefortheprotectionoflabourandsimilarauthorities;–inmanycountriesregulationsexistfortheinstallationofequipmentconnectedtothewatermains.NOTE102Thisstandarddoesnotapplyto–appliancesforboilingwater(IEC60335-2-15);–instantaneouswaterheaters(IEC60335-2-35);–commercialdispensingappliancesandvendingmachines(IEC60335-2-75);–appliancesintendedexclusivelyforindustrialpurposes;–appliancesintendedtobeusedinlocationswherespecialconditionsprevail,suchasthepresenceofacorrosiveorexplosiveatmosphere(dust,vapourorgas).
