【摘要】:Thispracticedescribestheproceduresfortherehabilitationofsewerlinesandconduits(4to15in.diameter)bytheinsertionofafoldedPVCpipe,whichisheated,pressurized,andexpandedagainsttheinteriorsurfaceofanexistingpipewitheitheramechanicalroundingdeviceorsteampressure.ThefinishedPVCpipewillbecontinuousandconformtotheexistingconduit.Thisrehabilitationprocesscanbeusedinavarietyofgravityapplications,suchassanitarysewers,stormsewers,andprocesspiping.Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareprovidedforinformationpurposesonly.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
