【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardspecifiesgeneralrequirementsforlaryngoscopesandcriticaldimensionsforthehandleandlampofhook-ontypelaryngoscopes.Itisapplicableonlytoinstrumentswithanelectricalpowersourceforilluminatingthelarynx,sinceelectricalsafetyrequirementsmaybemorestringentforinstrumentsconnectedtomainsorexternalpowerpacks.ThisInternationalStandardisnotapplicabletosurgicalinstrumentsknownbythesamegenericname.ThisInternationalStandarddoesnotapplyto:a)thebladeformorhandledesign,exceptforgeneralrequirementsandtheinterchangeabilityaspectsoftheconnectionbetweenthebladeandthehandle;b)themeasurementandspecificationofthelampilluminationintensity;c)flexiblelaryngoscopes,orlaryngoscopesdesignedforsurgery;d)laryngoscopespoweredfrommainselectricitysupply;e)laryngoscopesconnectedbylight-transmittingcablestoexternallightsources.NOTEInstrumentsconnectedbylightguidestoanexternallightsourcemaybesubjecttootherInternationalStandardsforendoscopes.
