【摘要】:Thepercentageofcalciumchloride,magnesiumchloride,andalkalichloride(calculatedassodiumchloride)ingradedaggregateobtainedfromaggregateroadsoraggregatebasesunderpavedroadsisofinteresttohighwaydepartmentsusingcalciumchlorideorsodiumchloridestabilization.Thepercentagesofcalciumchlorideorsodiumchlorideobtainedinthesetestmethodsarecomparedwiththequantitiesaddedtodeterminewhethertheroadmaterialandstabilizingagentwereproperlymixed,whetherleachingofthestabilizingagentoccurred,etc.1.1Thesetestmethodsareapplicabletothedeterminationofwater-solublecalcium,magnesium,andsodiumchloridesusedasadmixturesinthepreparationofgradedaggregateroadmaterials.Note1Thesetestmethodsassumethattheaggregatedidnotcontainsignificantamountsofthewater-solublechloridesinquestionbeforetheadmixturewasadded.Ifsignificantamountsofthesechloridesareknownorsuspectedtobepresent,theaggregateshallbetestedfortheseconstituentsaccordingtothesetestmethodsandthepropercorrectionsmade.1.2Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
