【摘要】:Thistestmethodcoversanon-chemical,biologicalprocedureforassayingwoodforapproximatepreservativecontent(Note0).Itrequiresminimalequipmentandtechnicalproficiency.Nocostlyequipmentisneededotherthanasmallautoclaveforpreparingfungalmedia.Sincethistestmethoddoesnotrequirecompositesamplestoascertainpreservationretentions,thereforeitisusedtoassessretentionatindividuallocations.Note0Withappropriate,simpleadaptation,themethodcanbeusedwithotherproductsbesideswood,suchasfungicidalpaintsandglues.Theassayingisdonewhereveritisconvenient,sinceasepticprecautionsarenotrequiredexceptformaintainingapurestockcultureoftheassayfungus.ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Theinch-poundunitsgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
