【摘要】:Thisspecificationcoversavarietyofcarbon,alloy,andmartensiticstainlesssteelnutsinthesizerange1/4through4in.andmetricM6throughM100nominal.Italsocoversausteniticstainlesssteelnutsinthesizerange1/4in.andM6nominalandabove.Thesenutsareintendedforhigh-pressureorhigh-temperatureserviceorboth.Gradesubstitutionswithoutthepurchaserspermissionarenotallowed.Barsfromwhichthenutsaremadeshallbehot-wrought.Thematerialmaybefurtherprocessedbycenterlessgrindingorbycolddrawing.Austeniticstainlesssteelmaybesolutionannealedorannealedandstrain-hardened.WhenannealedandstrainhardenedausteniticstainlesssteelisorderedinaccordancewithSupplementaryRequirementS1,thepurchasershouldtakespecialcaretoensurethat7.2.2,SupplementaryRequirementS1,andAppendixX1arethoroughlyunderstood.Supplementaryrequirements(S1throughS6)ofanoptionalnatureareprovided.Theseshallapplyonlywhenspecifiedintheinquiry,contract,andorder.Thisspecificationisexpressedinbothinch-poundunitsandinSIunits.However,unlesstheorderspecifiestheapplicable"M"specificationdesignation(SIunits),thematerialshallbefurnishedtoinch-poundunits.Thevaluesstatedineitherinch-poundunitsorSIunitsaretoberegardedseparatelyasstandard.Withinthetext,theSIunitsareshowninbrackets.Thevaluesstatedineachsystemarenotexactequivalents;therefore,eachsystemmustbeusedindependentlyoftheother.Combiningvaluesfromthetwosystemsmayresultinnoncomformancewiththespecification.
