【摘要】:Thistestmethodprovidesanestimateoftheshearstrengthofanadhesiveonvariousmachinableandnonmachinablesubstratematerials.Itisparticularlyapplicablefortestingbondsbetweenceramic,glass,magnetmoldings,andplasticpartswithoneflatfacewheremachiningwouldbedifficultorimpractical.1.1Thistestmethoddescribesaprocedureandfixtureusedtodetermineshearstrengthsofadhesivesusedtobondmaterialswithmodulihigherthanthemodulusoftheadhesive.Thesizeandshapeofthespecimensarevariablewithinthephysicalrestraintsofthefixture.1.2ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.1.2Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
