【摘要】:ThisBritishStandardspecifiesrequirementsforandgivesrecommendationsonthedesign,installation,alteration,testingandmaintenanceofservicessupplyingwaterfordomesticusewithinbuildingsandtheircurtilages.Itcoversthesystemofpipes,fittingsandconnectedappliancesinstalledtosupplyanybuilding,whetherdomesticornot,withwaterfordrinking,culinary,domesticlaundry,ablutionary,cleaningandsanitarypurposes1).Thisstandarddealsonlywithlowtemperaturesystems;itdoesnotcoversystemsthataredesignedtooperatewithsteamorhightemperaturehotwater.Thisstandarddoesnotcoverdomesticcentralheatingsystems.Althoughmanyofitsrecommendationswillbeapplicable,thisstandarddoesnotcoverfirefightingservicesnorwatersupplyforindustrialorotherspecialistpurposesotherthantoindicateprecautionsthatshouldbetakenwhentheseareusedinassociationwithotherwaterservices.Thepointatwhichadomesticactivitybecomesanindustrialprocess,e.g.infoodpreparation,hasnotbeendefinedandtheapplicabilityofthisstandardwillneedtobeconsideredineachcase.
