【摘要】:Thistestmethoddeterminesthecomparativeperformanceoffiltermedia.Theresultscanbeusedfordesign,manufacturing,constructionandselectionoffiltermedia.Resultsobtainedbythistestmethodshouldnotbeusedtopredictabsoluteperformanceonfullscalefabricfilter(baghouse)facilities,howevertheseresultswillbeusefulinselectionofproperfiltermediaandidentificationofrecommendedoperatingparametersforthesefullscalefabricfilterfacilities.Dusttypesvarygreatly;therefore,theresultsobtainedusingthestandarddustshouldnotbeextrapolatedtootherdusttypes.1.1Thistestmethodcharacterizestheoperationalperformanceofcleanablefiltermediaunderspecifiedlaboratoryconditions.1.2Thistestmethoddeterminestheairflowresistance,drag,cleaningrequirements,andparticulatefiltrationperformanceofpulsecleanedfiltermedia.1.3Thistestmethoddeterminesthecomparativeperformanceofcleanablefiltermedia.1.4Theresultsobtainedfromthistestmethodareusefulinthedesign,construction,andselectionoffiltermedia.1.5Theresultsobtainedbythistestmethodshouldnotbeusedtopredictabsoluteperformanceoffullscalefabricfilter(baghouse)facilities,howevertheseresultswillbeusefulinselectionofproperfiltermediaandidentificationofrecommendedoperatingparametersforthesefullscalefabricfilterfacilities.1.6ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Thevaluesinparenthesisareforinformationonly.1.7Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
