【摘要】:Thecomparativemethodofmeasurementofthermalconductivityisespeciallyusefulforengineeringmaterialsincludingceramics,polymers,metalsandalloys,refractories,carbons,andgraphitesincludingcombinationsandothercompositeformsofeach.Properdesignofaguarded-longitudinalsystemisdifficultanditisnotpracticalinamethodofthistypetotrytoestablishdetailsofconstructionandprocedurestocoverallcontingenciesthatmightofferdifficultiestoapersonwithouttechnicalknowledgeconcerningtheoryofheatflow,temperaturemeasurements,andgeneraltestingpractices.Standardizationofthistestmethodisnotintendedtorestrictinanywaythefuturedevelopmentbyresearchworkersofnewormethodsorimprovedprocedures.However,neworimprovedtechniquesmustbethoroughlytested.RequirementsforqualifyinganapparatusareoutlinedinSection10.1.1Thistestmethoddescribesasteadystatetechniqueforthedeterminationofthethermalconductivity,x03BB;,ofhomogeneous-opaquesolids(seeNotes1and2).Thistestmethodisformaterialswitheffectivethermalconductivitiesintheapproximaterange0.2x003C;x03BB;x003C;200W/(mx00B7;K)overtheapproximatetemperaturerangebetween90and1300K.Itcanbeusedoutsidetheserangeswithdecreasedaccuracy.Note18212;Forpurposesofthistechnique,asystemishomogeneousiftheapparentthermalconductivityofthespecimen,x03BB;A,doesnotvarywithchangesofthicknessorcross-sectionalareabymorethanx00B1;5%.Forcompositesorheterogeneoussystemsconsistingofslabsorplatesbondedtogether,thespecimenshouldbemorethan20unitswideand20unitsthick,respectively,whereaunitisthethicknessofthethickestslaborplate,sothatdiameterorlengthchangesofone-halfunitwillaffecttheapparentx03BB;Abylessthanx00B1;5%.Forsystemsthatarenon-opaqueorpartiallytransparentintheinfrared,thecombinederrorduetoinhomogeneityandphotontransmissionshouldbelessthanx00B1;5%.Measurementsonhighlytransparentsolidsmustbeaccompaniedwithinfraredabsorptioncoefficientinformation,ortheresultsmustbereportedasapparentthermalconductivity,x03BB;A.Note28212;Thistestmethodmayalsobeusedtoevaluatethecontactthermalconductance/resistanceofmaterials.1.2ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Nootherunitsofmeasurementareincludedinthisstandard.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
