【摘要】:Thispracticedescribestheproceduresthatcanbeusedtopreparenewandweatheredzinc-coatedsurfacesonafter-fabricationsteelproductsforpainting,andthatcanimprovethebondofpainttothezincsurface.1.1Thispracticedescribesmethodsofpreparingsurfacesofnewandweatheredhot-dipgalvanizedsteelforpainting.Hot-dipgalvanizedsteelisproducedbytheimmersionoffabricatedorunfabricatedproductsinabathofmoltenzinc,asspecifiedinSpecificationsA123/A123MorA153/A153M.Thispracticecoverssurfacepreparationonironandsteelproductsandhardwarethathavenotbeenpaintedpreviously.Galvanizedsurfacesmayhavebeentreatedwithprotectivecoatingstopreventtheoccurrenceofwetstoragestain.Thispracticedoesnotapplytosheetgalvanizedsteelproductsnortothecoilcoatingorcontinuousrollercoatingprocesses.SheetandcoilsurfacepreparationcanbedoneinaccordancewithPracticeD7396.1.2ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesandtodeterminetheapplicationofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
