【摘要】:Thetestingandinspectionofconcreteandconcreteaggregatesareimportantelementsinobtainingqualityconstruction.Atestinglaboratoryprovidingtheseservicesmustbeselectedwithcare.Atestinglaboratoryshallbedeemedqualifiedtoperformandreporttheresultsofitstestsifthelaboratorymeetstherequirementsofthispractice.Thetestinglaboratoryservicesshallbeprovidedunderthetechnicaldirectionofaregisteredprofessionalengineer.Thispracticeestablishesessentialcharacteristicspertainingtotheorganization,personnel,facilities,andqualitysystemsofthelaboratory.Thispracticemaybesupplementedbymorespecificcriteriaandrequirementsforparticularprojects.1.1Thispracticeidentifiesanddefinestheduties,responsibilities,andminimumtechnicalrequirementsoftestinglaboratorypersonnelandtheminimumtechnicalrequirementsforlaboratoryequipmentutilizedintestingconcreteandconcreteaggregatesforuseinconstruction.1.2ThispracticeprovidescriteriafortheevaluationofthecapabilityofatestinglaboratorytoperformdesignatedASTMtestmethodsonconcreteandconcreteaggregates.Itcanbeusedbyanevaluationauthorityintheinspectionoraccreditationofalaboratoryorbyotherpartiestodetermineifthelaboratoryisqualifiedtoconductthespecifiedtests.Note18212;SpecificationE329providescriteriafortheevaluationoflaboratoriesthatperformtheinspectionofconcreteduringplacement.1.3ThispracticeprovidescriteriaforInspectionBodiesandAccreditationBodiesthatprovideservicesforevaluationoftestinglaboratoriesinaccordancewiththispractice.1.4Ifthelaboratoryrequiresexternaltechnicalservicestoconducttests,theexternalagencyshallbesubjecttoseparateevaluation.1.5Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
