【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardestablishesfivemodesofoperationforapplicationsofann-bitblockcipher(e.g.protectionofdatatransmission,datastorage).Thedefinedmodesonlyprovideprotectionofdataconfidentiality.ProtectionofdataintegrityandrequirementsforpaddingthedataarenotwithinthescopeofthisInternationalStandard.Alsomostmodesdonotprotecttheconfidentialityofmessagelengthinformation.ThisInternationalStandardspecifiesthemodesofoperationandgivesrecommendationsforchoosingvaluesofparameters(asappropriate).ThemodesofoperationspecifiedinthisInternationalStandardhavebeenassignedobjectidentifiersinaccordancewithISO/IEC9834.ThelistofassignedobjectidentifiersisgiveninAnnexA.Inapplicationsinwhichobjectidentifiersareused,theobjectidentifiersspecifiedinAnnexAaretobeusedinpreferencetoanyotherobjectidentifiersthatmayexistforthemodeconcerned.
