【摘要】:Thistestmethodisusedtomeasuretheeffectivenessofbondingroller-compactedconcretetootherroller-compactedconcreteorotherhardenedcementitiousmixturesbyusingapointloadtestatthejoint.Bondstrengthisdeterminedusingdrilledcoresorcastcylindricalspecimensinwhichthebondsurfaceisessentiallynormaltothelongitudinalaxisatapproximatelythemid-lengthofthespecimen.Asplittingtensilestressnormaltothebondsurfaceisproducedbyapplyingapointloadatthejoint.Thistestmethodmaybeusedeitherforlaboratoryinvestigationbycastingindividualcompositecylindersorbycoringprototypestructuresorassemblies(TestMethodC42/C42M).1.1Thistestmethodisintendedfortestingroller-compactedconcretespecimensandcoversdeterminationoftherelativebondbetweenlayersofroller-compactedconcreteorotherhardenedconcreteinmultiple-liftformsofconstruction.Itisapplicabletoalltypesoflayeredconcretewherethetotaldepthissufficienttomeettheminimumspecimenlengthanddiameterrequirementsofthistestmethod.Thistestmethodisnotintendedtoprovidetensilestrengthresultsofthematerialtested.1.2ThevaluesstatedineitherSIunitsorinch-poundunitsaretoberegardedseparatelyasstandard.Thevaluesstatedineachsystemmaynotbeexactequivalents;therefore,eachsystemshallbeusedindependentlyoftheother.Combiningvaluesfromthetwosystemsmayresultinnon-conformancewiththestandard.1.3Thetextofthisstandardreferencesnotesandfootnotes,whichprovideexplanatorymaterial.Thesenotesandfootnotes(excludingthoseintablesandfigures)shallnotbeconsideredasrequirementsofthisstandard.1.4Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
