【摘要】:1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationoftherateatwhichalayerofclay-waterpasteisformedfromaclay-waterslipunderpressurefiltration.Thefiltrationrateisdirectlyrelatedtosuchwhitewareoperationsasfilterpressing,slipcasting,anddryingofwareinwhichwaterpermeabilitythroughaclay-waterpasteisthecontrollingmechanism.1.2Astraight-linerelationshipexistsbetweenthetimeoffilterpressingandthesquareofthethicknessofthepastelayer.Thefiltrationrateisdirectlyrelatedtothefilterpresspressureandthevoidfractionofthepastelayer,andisinverselyrelatedtothesquareoftheclaysurfacearea,theratioofsolidstoliquidintheslip,andtheviscosityofwateratthetestingtemperature.1.3Thevaluesstatedinacceptablemetricunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.1.4Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
