【摘要】:Thispracticeisintendedtostandardizetheminimumstructuraldesignloadingforundergroundprecastconcreteutilitystructures.Theusershallverifytheanticipatedfieldconditionsandrequirementswithdesignloadsgreaterthanthosespecifiedinthisstandard.1.1Thispracticedescribestheminimumliveloadsanddeadloadstobeappliedwhendesigningmonolithicorsectionalprecastconcreteutilitystructures.Concretepipe,boxculverts,andmaterialcoveredinSpecificationC478areexcludedfromthispractice.Note18212;ForadditionalinformationseeAASHTOStandardSpecificationforHighwayBridges,SeventeenthEdition.Note28212;Thepurchaseriscautionedthathemustproperlycorrelatetheanticipatedloadingconditionsandthefieldrequirementswiththedesignloadsused.1.2Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.ThevaluesgiveninparenthesesaremathematicalconversionstoSIunitsthatareprovidedforinformationonlyandarenotconsideredstandard.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
