【摘要】:Thedefinitionsandproceduresformeasuringflatnesscharacteristicsofsteelsheetproductsareprovidedsothatpurchasersandsuppliershavecommondefinitionsandmeasuringproceduresforflatnesscharacteristics.Theintentionofthesedefinitionsandmeasuringmethodsisnottoprovideadimensionalspecificationforflatnesscharacteristics,butrathercommonprocedure(s)forquantifyingflatnessanomalies.Fordeterminingcompliancewithflatnessspecifications,referencesareprovidedtoappropriateASTMstandards.1.1Flatnessisasignificantqualitycharacteristicofsteelsheetproducts.Sheetflatnessisaffectedbymillprocessfactorsplusthegrade,thicknessandwidthofthematerialsupplied.Itisthepurposeofthispracticetodefinethedifferentflatnesscharacteristicsandtodescribethemethod(s)mostcommonlyusedtomeasureparticularcharacteristics.Themethodsdescribedaredesignedandintendedtobeusedinmillsituationsandenvironments.1.2Thesubstrateshallconformtoalltherequirementsoftheappropriatespecificationsasfollows:SpecificationsA568/A568MorA924/A924M.1.3Quantitativelimitsarenotaddressedandareestablishedinthegeneralrequirements,orindividualproductspecifications,orboth;orwhenapplicable,asagreedtobetweensupplieranduser.1.4ThevaluesstatedineitherSIunitsorinch-poundunitsaretoberegardedseparatelyasstandard.Thevaluesstatedineachsystemmaynotbeexactequivalents;therefore,eachsystemshallbeusedindependentlyoftheother.Combiningvaluesfromthetwosystemsmayresultinnon-conformancewiththestandard.1.5Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
