【摘要】:ThispartofISO11843specifiestermsanddefinitionsrelatingtothedetectionofadifferencebetweenanactualstateofasystemanditsbasicstate.ThegeneralconceptslaiddowninthispartofISO11843,criticalvalueoftheresponsevariable,criticalvalueofthenetstatevariableandminimumdetectablevalueofthenetstatevariable(seedefi-nitionsNos.9to11),applytovarioussituationssuchascheckingtheexistenceofacertainsubstanceinamaterial,theemissionofenergyfromsamplesorplants,orthegeometricchangeinstaticsystemsunderdistortion.Criticalvaluescanbederivedfromanactualmeasurementseriessoastoassesstheunknownstatesofsystemsincludedintheseries,whereastheminimumdetectablevalueofthenetstatevariableasacharacteristicofthemeasurementmethodservesfortheselectionofappropriatemeasurementpro-cesses.Inordertocharacterizeameasurementpro-cess,alaboratoryorthemeasurementmethod,theminimumdetectablevaluecanbestatedifappropri-atedataareavailableforeachrelevantlevel,i.e.ameasurementseries,ameasurementprocess,alab-oratoryorameasurementmethod.Theminimumdetectablevaluesmaybedifferentforameasure-mentseries,ameasurementprocess,alaboratoryorthemeasurementmethod.ISO11843appliestoquantitiesmeasuredonscalesthatarefundamentallycontinuous.Itappliestomeas-urementprocessesandtypesofmeasurementequipmentwherethefunctionalrelationshipbetweentheexpectedvalueoftheresponsevariableandthevalueofthestatevariableisdescribedbyacalibrationfunction.Iftheresponsevariableorthestatevariableisavectorialquantity,theconceptsofISO11843applyseparatelytothecomponentsofthevectorsorfunctionsofthecomponents.NOTE—DefinitionsNos.6and11refertotheoreticalquantitieswhichinrealityremainunknown.Estimatesofthesetheoreticalquantitiescanbedeterminedfromex-perimentalresults.
