【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationcoversminimumrequirementsforthedesign,performance,testing,andcertificationoffootwearandfootprotectivedevicesdesignedtoprovidecutresistanceprotectiontothefeetofoperatorsofpowerchainsaws.1.2Theobjectiveofthisspecificationistoprescribefit,function,andperformancecriteriaforfootwearandfootprotectivedevices,wornbychainsawoperators,whichareintendedtoreducefootinjuriescausedbycontactwitharunningpowersawchain.1.3Thisspecificationisnotintendedtoserveasadetailedmanufacturingorpurchasingspecification,butcanbereferencedinpurchasecontractstoensurethatminimumperformancerequirementsaremet.1.4Controlledlaboratorytestsusedtodeterminecompliancewiththeperformancerequirementsofthisspecificationshallnotbedeemedasestablishingperformancelevelsforallsituationstowhichchainsawoperatorsmaybeexposed.1.5Mandatoryrequirementsareindicatedbytheuseofthewordshall;recommendationsandadvisoryinformationisindicatedbytheuseofthewordshould.
